Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“the Privacy Policy”) details the manner in which personal information is collected and processed by the Reisdor construction Ltd. group, which operates through various wholly-owned and affiliated companies in the field of real estate (collectively, “the Company” or “we”). The policy pertains to the use of the Company’s internet pages and landing pages and the Services offered thereby to the website’s visitors and the Company’s customers, and potential customers when they interact with the Company and their personal information is processed by it (“the website”, “the Services”, “user”, “you”, or “yours”, respectively).

This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of any other agreement between you and the Company. Any term that is mentioned below but is not defined herein shall be construed according to the relevant agreement or legal statute, or should such not exist, according to its normal and accepted meaning. In case of inconsistency between the terms of any agreement as mentioned above and the provisions of this Privacy Policy, the provisions of this Privacy Policy shall prevail with respect to the processing of your personal information. Subject to the limitations prescribed by law, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, at our sole discretion, by publishing a new version on the website and/or in the relevant service.

The collection and processing of information are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741–1981 (the “Privacy Protection Law”), the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security), 5777–2017, and all other laws and regulations applicable to the Company.

Your privacy is important to us. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you agree to its terms. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Services for any purpose.

General

You are not required to provide us with any personal information when using the Services. The sharing of personal information is done at your choice and voluntarily. However, the sharing of certain personal information may be necessary in order to receive some or all of the Company’s Services, and if you choose not to provide such information, the Company may not be able to provide you with the requested assistance. For example, without providing your contact details, we will not be able to respond to your inquiry, and similarly, without providing details regarding a Company project and/or service in which you are interested, we may not always be able to provide you with the requested information.

Types of information collected and the use of this information

When using the Services, the Company may collect the following information from the user:

Information that does not identify the user (“non-personal information”): When using the website and/or the Services, the Company collects anonymous data that does not identify the user. This information may include the user’s aggregated usage data and aggregative and statistical information regarding the use of the Services, including user behavior, pages viewed, social media shares, etc. The Company may use the services of third parties in this regard, including Google Analytics. This type of information will not personally identify you. The Company uses such information in order to operate and manage the website and/or the Services, analyze trends and traffic patterns, segment and improve content and user experience, and for statistical and internal analysis purposes.

Information that may identify the user (“personal information”): Information that allows to identify the user or that may through reasonable effort be used to identify the user. Such personal information includes online identifiers and additional data as detailed below:

  1. Information collected when contacting the Company: If the user chooses to contact the Company through any communication channel made available by the Company to its users (including by email, through online contact forms available on the website, or through any other online form for submitting details), the user will be requested to provide the Company with contact details, such as full name, email address, telephone number, and the content of the message. In addition, the user may provide the Company’s service representatives with additional information, at the user’s discretion and voluntarily. The Company will use this information in order to respond to the user’s inquiry and to provide the user with the information requested.
  2. Information collected when expressing interest in a project and/or contacting the Company as a potential customer through the website or a landing page: If the user chooses to contact the Company in connection with a specific project and/or any of the Company’s Services (whether through a direct inquiry, by telephone, through a representative and/or sales center, and/or via a dedicated form on the website or landing page), the user will be requested to provide the Company with contact details, such as full name, email address, and telephone number, as well as the relevant type of service and/or project. In addition, the user may provide the Company’s service representatives with additional information, at the user’s discretion and voluntarily, during the user’s further interaction with the Company. The Company will use this information in order to respond to the inquiry, provide the requested information, for marketing purposes related to the inquiry, including through contacting the user by email or any other means permitted by law, as well as for the purposes of managing its Services, monitoring its marketing and sales activities, measuring, and so on. The user must note that if they express interest in a specific real estate project, the Company may contact them in connection with other real estate projects that it manages and offers. The Company shall also be permitted to conduct digital marketing activities vis-à-vis any user who chooses to register and/or express interest as described above, including through cookies and similar technologies, as detailed below.
  3. Cameras at the Company’s sites and offices: Should the user choose to visit any of the Company’s sites, sales centers, and/or offices, the Company may be operating closed-circuit cameras in these premises for security, safety, and crime-prevention purposes.
  4. Recording of calls with the Company’s representatives: If the user contacts the Company by telephone and/or in any case where a Company representative contacts the user by telephone, the Company may record the call for the purposes of quality control, service improvement, monitoring the activities of its representatives, and documenting the call in order to protect the Company’s legitimate and legal interests.
  5. General usage data: We may retain general data, such as IP address, device type, and various technical identifiers as described above. The Company may collect this information independently or through service providers acting on the Company’s behalf. The Company uses online identifiers in order to tailor the website and the Services to the user’s needs, for digital advertising purposes, to detect fraud or other legal violations, and for any other customary and generally-accepted use.
  6. Use of information for sending marketing offers and mailing: As part of the website and/or the Services, users will be offered the option to register to receive mailings and/or a newsletter and marketing materials and/or commercial notices from the Company. To register, the user will be requested to provide an email address, telephone number, and full name. In addition, subject to applicable law, marketing messages and communications may be sent to existing customers and/or users who have conducted negotiations with the Company in connection with its Services. The Company will use this information in order to send the user the mailing, information, and marketing materials in which the user has expressed interest. Additionally, the Company may collect and record information regarding the user’s interaction with the marketing communications, such as opening emails, clicking links, and other information related to the user’s use of the messages sent to them. A user wishing to remove themselves from the Company’s mailing list can do so by contacting the Company directly by email at: [email protected] and/or through other means provided by the Company (for example, an “unsubscribe” link to be included in the aforementioned marketing email). Please note that even in cases where we remove you from our marketing mailing lists at your request, we may still send you operational and other messages that are not of a marketing nature.

Links to third-party services: The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of other websites and applications, even if the website or the Services contain links to such third-party services, and you are solely responsible for your use of such services. This Privacy Policy applies solely to personal information collected by the Company in connection with the Services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of such third parties before you provide them with any personal information.

Transfer of information to third parties: The Company may transfer personal information about the user to third parties in the instances detailed below:

  • The Company may share the information collected from the user and/or relating to the user where required or authorized by law, in accordance with the instructions of a competent authority or a court order, as well as in connection with a dispute, allegation, claim, demand, and/or legal proceedings conducted between the user and/or anyone acting on their behalf and the Company and/or anyone acting on its behalf and/or in case the Company believes that disclosing the information is necessary to prevent serious harm to the property and/or person of the user and/or of third parties and/or of other users and/or of any of its employees and/or customers, or in order to prevent any other damage or harm according to the Company’s discretion.
  • The Company may transfer information about the user in order to enforce the Terms of Use as well as to detect, prevent, or otherwise address any fraud incident, security incident, or technical issue, solely to the extent and scope necessary.
  • The Company shall be permitted to transfer information to its suppliers and/or service providers or subcontractors that provide services on its behalf (such as providers of marketing services, storage, computer servers, customer service, delivery services, online platforms for the processing and management of product orders, credit card processing companies, development, improvement, and service and support functionality, etc.) subject to applicable law and the requirements applicable to the Company.
  • The Company may transfer information to third-party providers that provide analytics and digital advertising services, subject to applicable law and as detailed below in the section concerning “Cookies.”
  • The Company may share information about the user with the group’s companies (including Reisdor and its affiliated companies), and such information may be transferred between them, to the extent required for their operations and the provision of services, subject to applicable law.
  • The Company may transfer information about a user subject to the user’s consent. Where the Company shares such information with a third party with the user’s consent and/or at the user’s request, such information shall be subject to the third party’s privacy practices and the Company shall not be responsible for any use made of such information by such third parties.
  • Subject to applicable law, the Company may transfer all information about you that has been collected by it to a third party in connection with the transfer or assignment of its business (in part or in full) and/or to subsidiaries or affiliated companies, reorganization, merger, joint ventures, and other transactions relating to its business (including as part of negotiations for such transactions) and for the purpose of enabling the continued provision of the Services by the third party. All this subject to the information recipient’s undertaking to use the information in accordance with the limitations applicable to the Company.

Use of “cookies” and tracking tools: We use cookies (small text files stored in the user’s browser) and other similar technologies (such as pixels, web beacons, etc.) to collect data on the website and the Services. These technologies help us to understand how our Services are being used, analyze traffic patterns, and adapt and improve our Services and content. We additionally use these technologies to store the user’s preferences, personalize content and advertising on the website and its Services, and manage digital marketing and advertising processes as is customary. In addition, we use cookies for security purposes, including detecting and preventing prohibited uses. As part of the website and/or the Services, the Company may use such tracking tools provided by third-party service providers.

The user may halt the collection of information through cookies (except for information that is necessary for the website’s operation and security) by changing the browser settings. Note that should you choose to block or delete cookies, certain features or services of the website may become unavailable and/or your experience while using the website may be limited.

Transfer of information abroad: The Company is an Israeli company. However, as part of providing the Services, the Company shall be permitted to transfer personal information to other countries, including through the use of third-party services operating in other countries around the world (e.g., cloud servers). The information transfer will be done in accordance with applicable law.

Information security: The Company invests efforts in order to maintain the security of the user’s information, and uses for this purpose accepted security methods and measures in order to prevent unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure of information, its unlawful destruction, or loss of personal information. However, unfortunately, the transfer of information through the Internet cannot be completely secure. Therefore, although the Company does its utmost to protect the user’s personal information, the Company cannot guarantee its total security, and any transfer of personal information shall be done solely at the user’s responsibility.

Social networks: You acknowledge that you know the website enables content sharing via social networks (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), and includes links to the Company’s pages on social networks. Any sharing of content from the website on social networks and/or browsing of the Company’s pages on social networks may be subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of such social networks.

Information retention period: We retain personal information for the period required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, subject to what is permitted by law. We may retain the personal information for a longer period, in the following cases:

  1. To fulfill the Company’s obligations under law.
  2. To protect the legitimate interests of the Company and/or its customers.
  3. Where we believe that retaining the information is required for the complete and accurate documentation of your interactions with us, or as part of the ongoing management of our business, including for the purpose of handling complaints or resolving disputes.

We may, at our sole discretion, delete or modify information in our systems, without providing prior notice, where we believe that the information is no longer required for the abovementioned purposes.

User rights: The Company respects users’ privacy and their control over their personal information. The user may request to review information relating to them (as defined in Section 7 of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741–1981) that is held by the Company by submitting a written request to the following email address: [email protected]. If you find that the information is incorrect and/or outdated, you may request that it be corrected or deleted.

Additionally, if the information retained by the Company is used for the purpose of personally contacting the user, based on the user’s inclusion in a population group, determined per one or more characteristics as per the Privacy Protection Law (also known as direct mailing), the user is entitled to request in writing that the relevant information relating to the user be deleted from the Company’s databases.

Information required by the Company for the purpose of managing its business – including records of commercial and other activities you have performed in connection with our business activity – will continue to be retained by us in accordance with applicable law, but will no longer be used for the purpose of contacting you through direct mailing.

When submitting a request to update and/or review and/or delete information as described above, the Company may request certain details from the user for the purpose of verifying the user’s identity prior to responding to such request.

Age restriction: The Company’s Services are not intended for use by minors under the age of 18. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of 18 about whom you are concerned that sensitive information has been collected, please contact the Company at the following email address: [email protected].

The applicable law: This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute shall be adjudicated by the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo and them alone.
